Death Camps Album

$400.00

"Death Camps" album is a visual testimony to the Holocaust and the crimes of totalitarian regimes. The photographs document the sites of the extermination camps in occupied Poland—crematoria, gas chambers, and places of unimaginable human suffering.

“Soil where the dead are most present.” (H. Moore)

Death Camps (also referred to as "extermination camps" or "killing centers") were established by the Nazis between 1941 and 1945 to carry out genocide. Five main killing centers—Majdanek, Stutthof, Treblinka, Gross Rosen, and Auschwitz-Birkenau—witnessed the deaths of an estimated 2.7 million Jews as part of the so-called Final Solution. Other victims included Poles, Roma, and Soviet prisoners of war.

This album is dedicated to memory, reflection, and historical truth, honoring the victims and warning future generations.
